Hyunwoo Kim received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2013 and earned his Ph.D. in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Sukbok Chang at the same institution. He then worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) for one year before completing his postdoctoral research at Cornell University with Profs. Song Lin and Tristan Lambert in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. In 2020, he joined Ewha Womans University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and NanoScience. Since 2022, he has been a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at POSTECH, where his research focuses on radical organic chemistry and organic electrosynthesis, aiming to develop sustainable synthetic methodologies.
